Not found the right volunteering opportunity?

Have a look at some of our local partner’s websites to see if they have a volunteering role for you:

Would you like to help make a real difference to a child’s life?

The YMCA provide fun activities for young people who have a caring responsibility at home due to parental or sibling poor physical or mental health. Our activities give them the opportunity to socialise with other children who are in similar circumstances, give them a break from their caring responsibilities and a chance to just have some fun! Activities usually take place during the school holidays and some term-time weekends and evenings on the Island or the mainland.

We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic, child focused volunteers who are empathetic, young at heart and have experience in working with children to jointly supervise these activities. You will be able to commit to at least one activity per school holiday and have a full clean driving licence, access to a car and have a willingness to undertake training to be able to transport children to and from trips.

If you have any questions please email or call Trudie for a chat on 01983 861071 or 07583 027890.
