Language Builders

Our Language Builders programme is designed to support your child’s language development (between the ages of 2 to 3 years).

Our sessions take place in a Family Hub or Centre over 3 weeks. The first session looks at the importance of using Books and Rhymes within the home and how this can help increase speech development. Your child will receive a free Bookstart bag.

The following 2 sessions we look at fun, playful activities which encourage speech and language development. The activities involve the use of everyday objects and toys you will have in your home, so they can be repeated.

Our online Building Blocks workshop is available to you if your child is between 9 months to 3 years. You will get lots of ideas and tips to help you understand your child’s stage of development and to strengthen your relationship with your child/ren.

Between the ages of 1 and 3 years, your toddler grows, learns and develops a huge amount. Barnardo's Family Space have resources to provide guidance and support for helping your toddler’s growth and development.
