Supporting Your Emotional Wellbeing

At times it may feel like you have no one to talk to and share what is worrying you.

Locally and nationally there are some really good support services you can contact and there will be someone to listen to you and help you.

The Isle of Wight Youth Trust offers you the opportunity to talk in confidence about any issues or problems you may be having, to help you try and find a way forward, through difficult times. Our service is completely  free for any young person aged 4-25 years on the Isle of Wight. If you are over the age of 13, you can see us without your parents consent. If you are under 13, we will require your parent/guardian's consent.
Young People - Isle of Wight Youth Trust

The Isle of Wight NHS Trust, Barnardo’s and the Isle of Wight Youth Trust have collaborated to deliver Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) in schools and colleges across the Island as an exciting addition to the mental health service on the island and will improve mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in the community, working with their parents, carers and schools . MHSTs support schools to provide a whole school approach to mental health and wellbeing. The team can also deliver sessions directly to children in assemblies, classes or groups and sometimes 1 to 1. There is a Designated Mental Health Lead in schools who can provide more information.
