World Breastfeeding Week 2026

Thank you to all the families who joined us for the World Breastfeeding Week picnic at Robin Hill yesterday.

It was fabulous to see so many of you despite the unexpected wet conditions! We hope you enjoyed this wonderful celebration together and we hope to see you all at one of our groups soon.

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the Infant Feeding Team here at Barnardo’s! We are Lisa, Ellen and Candyce and we can be found at the Breastfeeding groups in Ryde and Newport and at various Health Visiting Clinics around the Island. We are part of the wider Community Early Help team who provide free parenting courses and workshops for all families on the Island. We are all Breastfeeding Network trained and as well as being available in the groups, we can offer one-to-one phone and Teams support by request.
